WORKPLACE GIVING

Corporate giving to Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc. is a profound way for your company to have a tremendous impact on the lives of many women, children, and men affected by domestic abuse. Through your corporate philanthropic efforts, you can show your consumers and employees that you care about your community, and more importantly, that you care about helping victims of domestic violence rebuild their lives.

HOW YOUR COMPANY CAN GET INVOLVED

  • Make a financial contribution
  • Sponsor an event
  • Fund a program through a grant award
  • Donate needed products or host a donation drive
  • Gather a volunteer group

ANNUAL DONATION DRIVES

Women in Distress has four major donation drives, Mother’s Day, Back-to-School, Thanksgiving Food Drive, and our Holiday Gift/Toy Drive. These drives are a great way to give your workforce an opportunity to collect much-needed items and get involved by volunteering in the drives so they can see the impact firsthand.

MATCHING GIFTS

With matching gifts, your company can double (or even triple) the impact of your employees’ support and show that you care about the charitable causes important to your employees. Ask your employer if they offer matching donations year-round or on specific dates such as Giving Tuesday.

IMPACT PARTNERS

Impact Partners are individuals and corporations who have made an annual commitment of $10,000 or more to help the families served by Women In Distress.  For a list of our current Impact Partners, please see our Impact Partners page.
