Make A Difference

Your generous donations are a lifeline for families seeking safety. The need for domestic violence services is ever-growing, and it’s your support that makes a world of difference. What’s remarkable is that 87 cents of every dollar raised directly supports survivor programs and essential services.

With your contributions, we not only offer a secure haven for survivors and their children but extend critical services like counseling, therapy, and vital assistance in finding housing, childcare, and employment opportunities. Every gift you share has the power to reshape lives and inspire a brighter future, and help a survivor reclaim their power.

Other Ways To Give

At Women In Distress, we present a variety of avenues for giving and engagement. Whether it’s leaving a lasting legacy through planned giving, participating in workplace initiatives, or exploring unique avenues like gifting stocks, securities, and even cryptocurrency, we’re here to guide you in selecting the option that is best for you.

Blooming Sales Thrift Store

While the thrift store receives all donations, staff will pull items needed by shelter participants and send them to our shelter location.  Our shelter participants are also able to shop for free at the thrift store. Items not needed for the shelter will be sold at the thrift store with 100% of all proceeds being returned to support the mission of the agency.
